The Cameron Park Rotary Club Community Observatory
Folsom Lake College, El Dorado Center, invites the public to let trained observatory docents show the many celestial wonders of the universe through two 14 inch telescopes.. Valhalla Renaissance Faire
The Faire will take visitors to a county fair in late-1500's England, bringing back life in renaissance times. Living history exhibits, entertainment, children's shows, period food, beer and wine. Renowned Celtic music band, Black Irish band will  perform. Over 1,000 actors and close to 50 vendors from all over the country will be here at South Lake Tahoe. Student fundraiser project to benefit the Placerville Police Department K-9 Unit. Local native people present demonstrations as well as hands-on activities, including acorn preparation, basket weaving and traditional dancing. Hand games, Indian football and beading for kids.
