some favorite oldies like Fun, Fun, Fun, Help Me Rhonda, Surfin’
Safari, Good Vibrations and more. Dancing from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. There
will be a no-host bar (21 & over), Hot Dogs and Pop Corn Stand and
a Silent Auction. Tickets are $25 – advance sales only. A portion
of the proceeds will benefit the El Dorado County Western Slope Boys &

This event is commemorated
every year with living history, interactive period trade demonstrations,
music and much, much more. Saturday January 24th from 10:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Gold Discovery State Historic Park in Coloma,
just eight miles north of Placerville on Highway 49. Free to the public - a
parking fee may apply.

A murder mystery
to start off the new year. A stylish thriller about a down-on-his-luck

2004 will be presented by Stammtisch El Dorado to include a
“German
Mardi Gras”. Saturday,
January 24, 2003. Festivities
begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Shakespeare Club with a costume ball
and continue throughout the evening with a German-style dinner,
refreshments, prizes, live music, dancing and entertainment.
Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members. For more
