Eighteen El Dorado wineries will
celebrate Summer Solstice by keeping their tasting rooms open late
on Saturday, June 19th and offering visitors a once-a-year
opportunity to enjoy the longest Saturday of the year.
From 5:00 to 8:00
pm, guests will enjoy complimentary wine samples, light fare and
a cool summer's

Boa Vista Orchards will be celebrating with a Cherry
Festival June 18th thru
the 20th at 2952 Carson Road in Placerville. U-Pick
Bing and Rainier cherries, fresh cherry and blackberry pies and
turnovers. BBQ Tri-Tip sandwiches. Fresh summer fruits and vegetables
and apple wine tasting.

popular Placerville event will be hosted again by downtown merchants
and will include
a street closure for added enjoyment and safety. Tickets are limited
so don't hesitate. Tickets
will be on sale for $25 at River City Bank, The Gold Rush
and The Winesmith. All ticket outlets are located on Main Street

Certified Farmer's Market
is now open on Saturdays and continues
each Saturday through mid-October. Top quality fresh fruits and
vegetables,
fresh baked breads, nursery items, honey, eggs, flowers and more.

Speedway. There are races every Saturday of each month. Bring
out your family and friends to the speedway to have a nice evening
of fun. Gates open at 5 pm. Placerville Speedway, 100 Placerville

Wagon
Train
The
Wagon Train will be rolling down
Main Street, Placerville on June 26th between 2
pm and 3 pm. For information about Wagon Train activities

"Imagination
Summer" Musical Theater Arts Camp
Two dates,
June 7-11th and June 14-25th. This is a two week session
for 4th to 8th graders

The
Taming of the Shrew
June
4-27 at the Veterans
Memorial Building, 130 Placerville Drive, Placerville. Tickets

Annual
4th of July Celebration on June 26th
The
day-long event begins at noon with crafts, carnival games, contests,
local entertainment, raffles,
food and refreshments, and a spectacular fireworks display over
Cameron Park Lake. Noon

of July Family Blast at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds
- 4 pm to 9:30 pm
All-American
food, entertainment, old fashioned kids games and contests

Speedway is separate admission. Fireworks to start at nightfall.
Admission - $2 per person walk-in, $3 parking, $10 per carload

Dorado Hills Summer Concert Series 2004
July 9-23. The concerts are free and are
co-sponsored by Kool 101.9. Craft fairs, local food merchants,
children's bounce house fun and Karaoke contests will be
featured on these evenings. 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. El Dorado
