Welcome
to Eldo, the AmBEARssador of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce
Eldo,
a lovable bear, has been traveling far and wide to acquaint tourism
officials around the world with El Dorado County. Perhaps someone
spotted him in September as he climbed the Eiffel Tower, or cavorting

Minnie and the Gang at Disney World, Florida, or in Clunes, Australia,
sister city to Coloma, the birthplace of California's Gold Rush.
Whew! Eldo is one busy bear!! To find out more about this well-traveled
AmBEARssador, stop in at the Chamber of Commerce office, 542, Main
Street, Placerville. Take a look at the map showing Eldo's travels,
and leaf through the scrapbook of pictures showing the places he
has been and people he has seen.
Kids: See
if you can find Clunes, Australia on the map. Did they find gold
